Where did we start?
This client is a graphic design agency based on the Gold Coast who was looking for ways to bring in new online leads. They were seeing good word of mouth engagement, however wanted to expand their online reach. The client was also keen to increase the number of reviews they were receiving on their Google Business Listing.
What was our SEO strategy?
The beginning of our SEO strategy was a discussion with the client to refine their services and the geographical area that these were being offered – while the business is Australia-wide, the particular Google Business Profile the campaign is focussed on only covers the geographical area of Burleigh Heads.
Once the keywords and focus pages were decided we developed a set of recommendations for how the client could improve their on-page optimisation, and tips for how this could be implemented, as the client was managing their own website.
Then it was a matter of coordinating posts for the Google Business Profile to ensure Google could understand the services and products offered by the client.
Where is this client now?
Over the course of the campaign, the client has seen a lot of positive movement in their keywords, resulting in 80% of their targeted keywords sitting in position one in Maps in January 2022, which is a great result for widening their customer funnel.
When the campaign started in April of 2021, the client was seeing 3 calls to their business and 25 clicks onto the website through the Google Business Profile. These figures have both seen improvement over the last several months, with the client seeing as many as 37 clicks to the website and 4 calls to the website.
In addition to that, the amount of traffic the client has seen coming through being searched on Google has increased from 24 sessions in April 2021 to 472 in January 2022.
Overall, the client has seen an increase in leads from their local campaign.
