James here, one of Digital Surfer’s Business Development Managers. My role here is to help businesses find opportunities to level up and reveal what has been holding them back from their goals. It’s something I have been doing for many years, and take great pride in working hand-in-hand with businesses to be part of their success.
Part of what makes me so good at what I do is my diverse background, having worked in retail, acting, as a teacher and a bartender, landscaping, plumbing, recruitment and customer service. I’ve been in all aspects of a business, and have in-depth knowledge across a range of industries. I like to think it helps me relate to more business owners, finding great reward when I see our plans bring them the results they need to thrive.
James's Story
James brings a very unique skillset to the Digital Surfer team. Originally from the NSW Central Coast and now living on the Gold Coast, he has worked in a broad range of industries and roles, testing his toes as an actor, drama teacher, in food services, landscaping, plumbing, banking and recruitment. It gives him a diverse understanding how a wide range of industries and businesses work, allowing him to make more accurate, effective recommendations.
Business skills aside, James loves dabbling in videography and retro pop culture, while spending his weekends exploring with his wife and beautiful daughter. He loves to get out there to try new things and meet new people, loving the challenge and ‘wide open horizons of possibilities’.
