The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Paid Ads Specialist within our Gold Coast team. The position is full-time over 4 & 1/2 days. You’ll be responsible for;

  • The proactive development, implementation, and optimisation of strategic paid media campaigns across various platforms such as Google Ads, Bing, and various social media channels.
  • Executing tests, collecting, and analysing data, and identifying trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns
  • Creating and building high-level relationships with business owners, marketing departments, and management teams across a wide range of industries.
  • Report on key metrics for every campaign with the ability to analyse performance, identify areas for improvement, and justify campaign decisions to clients.
  • Conduct market research on keywords, consumer trends, and competing brands.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest advancements in search trends, PPC strategies, and best practices.
  • Optimise copy and landing pages for paid search engine marketing campaigns
  • Creation of creative and compelling paid ads within all paid advertising platforms

Key Functions of the Role

You will come from a strong paid ads background with a passion and ability to understand business goals and advertising principles across multiple paid ad platforms. You have a strong ability to clearly communicate strategy, performance, and campaign recommendations, whilst having extremely high attention to detail and excellent listening skills.

The Role

  • Strategise, create, execute, manage and optimise;
    • Google campaigns across search, display, shopping, and YouTube.
    • Facebook (Mata) & Instagram ad campaigns
    • Bing ad campaigns 
    • LinkedIn and other social media ad campaigns as required under the campaign strategy.
  • Conduct market research on keywords, consumer trends, and competing brands.
  • Create and optimise copy and landing pages for paid search engine marketing campaigns.
  • Monitoring SEM analytics such as conversion rate, CPCs, and customer acquisition rates.
  • Management of client expectations and report on key metrics for every campaign with the ability to analyse performance, identify areas for improvement, and justify campaign decisions to clients (face to face and via the phone).
  • Project Management of work and reporting through the agency systems.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest advancements in search trends, PPC strategies, and the best practices.

Fit for Role

  • 12 to 18 months within an agency paid ads role 
  • A good understanding and experience in running successful campaigns in Google Ads (search, display, shopping, YouTube), Meta Ads, Bing Ads. Other social media ad campaign platforms would be a bonus. 
  • The ability to clearly communicate strategy, performance, and campaign recommendations
  • You love data and are analytically minded.
  • You’re a natural problem solver and an avid reader. You’re always on top of the latest search trends and willing to tackle a challenge.
  • You work well with others and enjoy teaming up within the team and value the relationships you have at work.
  • Excellent verbal and handwritten communication skills with client and team, as well as high attention to detail
  • Experience with popular campaign management and reporting tools.
  • Experience with popular content management systems, WordPress & Shopify are essential
  • Positive, ability to learn quickly, self-motivated, passionate, enthusiastic, a can-do attitude & dynamic, are a few “keywords” that describe the best fit personality for this position.
