Aqua Living Pools is a premium and luxury pool builder, known for their outstanding pool design and construction in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. As an award-winning, family owned business, they pride themselves on building pools that add lifestyle and luxury to homes. Despite being in the industry for more than 20 years, their online presence did not reflect their superior services, nor did it bring them the business they wanted to be able to further level up and grow — until they met Digital Surfer.
Client Goals & Challenges
The team at Aqua Living Pools approached Digital Surfer’s paid ads specialists at the end of 2022. They were currently running ads with a daily budget of $100 per day, but were not receiving the number of leads expected by the client, nor were they the high-end clients they wanted to receive enquiries from. We put in place several goals to help us create a strategy to get these luxury pool builders to where they wanted to be.

Our SEO & Paid Ads Strategy
As pool builders in Queensland is a competitive industry with many bids on Google Ads, the first strategy we utilised was to ensure the business was investing the right budget to get them the results they would need. To do this, we calculated the cost per lead to show the business how many leads they could get on their current budget. With this data, the business was able to quantify investing a further $100 into their Google Ads per day on the new campaign. As we were able to show the business the return for their investment and improve this figure, they continued to invest further budget for greater return.
With the additional budget, we were able to create a targeted campaign for both Brisbane and the Gold Coast with unique landing pages to increase conversion potential. Under our recommendation the client also had professional photography taken to better align with their target audience, as well as enhanced their contact form and online booking form to better qualify their leads. Enlisting a on-site consultation fee also helped them reduce time spent on enquiries for lower-budget pools they did not service.

The Results
In the first month of their new ads with Digital Surfer, Aqua Living Pools experienced a 208% increase in leads with an increased conversion rate of 10.39%. Within the following months, they experienced a 522% increase in leads, with 261 phone and form enquiries generated through their ads. This resulted in the team quoting more than 20 jobs a week in person, giving the business a significant boost.
The business has also continued to grow from their original campaign goals. Into 2023, they continued to see a further growth in website traffic, with a 34% growth in overall visitors to their website between December 2022 and August 2023, proof of their growing digital space. They’ve been able to engage in a $2+ million project and were highly commended for their work, winning the SPASA QLD Awards 202 for Concrete Pools over $240,000. This substantial growth can all be pointed back to their paid ads created by Digital Surfer.
