About Total Environmental Concepts
For more than a decade, Total Environmental Concepts has been providing tree maintenance, management and sustainability to large-scale and commercial projects throughout South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales. They have more than a decade of experience working with local councils, government departments, property developers and more providing tree and environmental services of the highest quality.
Client Goals & Challenges
Total Environmental Concepts has been working with Digital Surfer since 2018. Their initial concern was their website wasn’t bringing them new business due to not being visible on search engines. This would be our first goal to help level up the environmental services business on organic search results to increase their visibility to land owners in the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Northern NSW.
As time went on and their performance increased, Total Environmental Concepts shifted their focus from more residential clients to commercial projects. In 2023, the business would undergo a website rebuild for both technical and brand purposes. The main challenge for the campaign for the business over the years is the very niche services they were wanting to promote and how to reach people in alternative ways.
Our Multi-Step Website & Organic Search Strategy
Our initial SEO strategy in 2018 was to first improve the online presence of the most profitable services for the business. This would involve creating new pages for each service optimised to appear for searches in the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan, Beaudesert, the Scenic Rim and the Moreton Bay Shire. As the campaigns matured and grew, we expanded into different areas of the business to expand their reach backed by data, such as driver-operated equipment hire and long-form educational content.
In 2023 and into 2024, the business began to shift their idea of their ideal client, wanting to focus more on commercial projects, such as government contracts, over residential services. With their website in need of an overhaul, we decided the most effective strategy would be a rebuild, with a greater focus on their ideal jobs.
